Julie Horne
Julie is the founder and creative force behind Chop and Change.
She was literally born into hairdressing (her dad owned the salon before her) and she's spent than 38 years in the industry.
Julie's signature style is effortless beauty - soft, seamless colour, natural movement, and hair that feels glamorous without ever looking overdone.
She's built Chop and Change into an award-winning destination, recognised for its technical excellence and its progressive approach to sustainability - proving that high-end hairdressing and responsible practice can exist side by side.
Her eye for detail, instinct for what suits each individual, and commitment to creating an exceptional experience have earned her a loyal, long-standing clientele who trust her completely.
Lucie Hearn
Lucie has a well-earned reputation for her refined aesthetic and understated approach to modern hairdressing. She's fantastic at seamless balayages that are totally wearable and enhance your natural style.
With an intuitive eye for tone, texture, and balance, Lucie specialises in hair that feels lived-in yet luxurious that is easy to manage and grows out beautifully. You can expect a through consultation that creates the exact finish you were hoping for.
Lucie's trained within the Chop & Change philosophy, she is deeply aligned with the salon’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and uncompromising standards. That combined with her calm presence and attentive nature create the ultimate salon experience.
Fran Osbourne
Fran's an award-winning apprentice already making her mark within the industry.
Currently completing her training, Fran has quickly gained recognition for her natural ability, dedication, and eye for detail, earning awards for Best Apprentice early in her career. Her work already reflects the Chop & Change classy with an edge signature style.
Clients are drawn to Fran for her calm confidence, friendly nature, and the care she brings to every appointment - ensuring each experience feels considered, relaxed, and personal.
As she prepares to complete her apprenticeship this year, Fran is already establishing herself as a valued stylist and an exciting part of the future of Chop and Change.

Your Appointment
There’s a car park with free parking just beside the salon, to make the experience as stress-free as possible.
Please arrive promptly for your appointment. We always do our best to run to schedule, but if your stylist is running late, we’ll let you know and grab you a quick drink.
Due to last minute cancellations, you’ll need to pay a deposit of 50% when you book your appointment. Please don’t blame us – blame the no-shows!
We understand that life sometimes happens and things change, so we accept free cancellations up to 24 hours before your appointment.
We hope you understand that cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at 50% of the scheduled cost.
Visiting for colour? You’ll need to have had a valid patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment.
To maintain our eco-friendly practices you’ll notice a £1 green fee on your bill. This helps us to take sustainable action that is good for your hair and the environment.
